Busy, Busy!

Monday, August 18th, 2014

August has been very busy here at Chiggs- maybe all our stockists are getting their orders in to prepare for those September babies- (there is usually a baby boom 9 months after Christmas/New Year!).

We have sent more Chiggs Baby Wheels out to Angel Wholesale, the one stop shop for nappy cake, baby shower and baby basket supplies. If you head to section ‘nappy cakes’ and then ‘embellishments’ you can find each of the Baby Feed Wheels and the Baby Medicine Wheel. All Chiggs Baby Wheels are available in single quantities from Angel Wholesale, with savings to be made buying them in larger quantities.

Baby Feed Wheels have winged (wheeled?) their way to Maternal Instincts online maternity and breastfeeding boutique, Baby BoBo nappy cakes in Louth, Lincolnshire, and a variety of eBay shops, Mini AcornsClick and Buy gifts and Smartieprints.

It’s always a pleasure to visit one of our local stockists, Magpie Greetings here in Harrogate, and we dropped of a reorder of Baby Feed Wheels and Get Well Wheels this afternoon (and bought a lovely card while we were there- I never leave empty handed!)

Babies Babies baby shower specialists are another business who have restocked with Baby Feed Wheels this month. All our stockists sell Baby Feed Wheels, but not all sell the full range, so if there is a Chiggs Wheel you can’t find at your favourite independent retailer or online retailer, have a browse through the Chiggs shop

If you run a business and would also like to sell Chiggs Wheels, do have a look at our Trade and Wholesale page, and either fill in the trade enquiry form or send us an email for more information. We would be delighted to hear from you!

A royal baby is announced.

Monday, December 3rd, 2012

St James’s Palace has today made the announcement that William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their first child. Here at Chiggs we are absolutely delighted at the news- we love this royal couple, and since celebrating the Royal Wedding with an enormously enjoyable street party, have been looking forward to news of a royal baby! In fact, I had my very own Mystic Meg moment when I speculated wildly predicted with startling accuracy this very announcement when guest bogging for A Royal Baby last week.

According to the news today, Kate is not yet 12 weeks pregnant, ( the usual time for a pregnancy to be announced) but she has been suffering from acute morning sickness, and has been admitted to the King Edward VII hospital in London. We’re wishing her well- in my experience ‘morning’ sickness is woefully misnamed!

Catherine has gained a reputation for her impeccable dress sense, so we can recommend Chiggs stockist A Beautiful Mummy when she starts shopping for her maternity wardrobe!  Of course when the time comes we will be dispatching the best present for new parents we can find (that would be a  Baby Feed Wheel or two in the appropriate colour or colours!) in the direction of Anglesey. Chiggs- By Appointment to her Majesty the Duchess of Cambridge- now that has a real ring!

Glossy Wheels thanks to A Beautiful Mummy

Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

A couple of Chiggs stockists have had some great publicity recently, and have very kindly given Chiggs a mention, too. Here’s the first…

I had the pleasure of meeting Claire Burns at a Business Link event in Harrogate last year. Claire is not only a mum of four, she’s also a ‘mumpreneur’,  running a fantastic online business called A Beautiful Mummy, stocking a huge range of maternity and nursing wear (and now, I’m delighted to say, Baby Feed Wheels!).

A Beautiful Mummy has recently been awarded Insight Magazine’s

Mummy Must-Have Gold Award, and a 4 page glossy spread in the magazine.

And guess what? Alongside the lovely breastfeeding and nursing tops, changing bags and maternity wear, Claire also put forward the Baby Feed Wheel and the Medicine (Get Well) Wheel to be featured!

Don’t they look great? So lovely of Claire to give the Wheels a mention! She even sent me a copy of the magazine through the post so that I could see the Wheels in all their glossy glory 🙂
